What to Expect

What are services like?

In all services we strive to honor God through prayer, worship, and the teaching of His word.  We seek to follow God’s will and be receptive to wherever the Holy Spirit leads.

What to wear?

Attire for morning worship at Mountain View ranges from jeans to suits.  All are Welcome!

How long are services?

Most Sunday morning services are between 1 hour and 15 minutes – 1 hour and 30 minutes but may be longer or shorter depending on where the Holy Spirit leads.
Most Sunday evening services are around 1 hour but may be longer or shorter depending on where the Holy Spirit leads.

What is your style of worship?

It’s not how you worship it’s Who you worship.  We do a blended style of worship mixing contemporary songs, old hymns, and everything in between.  The most important thing to us is that the music focuses our attention on God and draws us closer to Him.

What do you have for children?

Nurseries (Babies-3 year olds) are available during Sunday Morning Worship Service and Sunday Evening Worship Service.

During Sunday Morning Worship Service children are dismissed to Children’s Church (4-5 year olds) and Junior Church (1st Graders-3rd Graders) after the worship time and before preaching.

It’s a good idea for first time guest families to come 10-15 minutes prior to the start of service to sign in their children and give contact information.

 OUR MISSION

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

GIVE AS UNTO THE LORD

II Corinthians 9:6-7

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
